SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER RECRUITMENT FAIR
The CVUSD Human Resources Department is excited to host an upcoming recruitment fair to find stellar special education teachers devoted to changing lives and helping CVUSD students reach their fullest potential.

CVUSD is currently seeking to hire:
  • Early Childhood Academic Instruction Teacher: Provide an exceptional instructional program for preschool students who qualify with mild to moderate disabilities. This is a unique opportunity to shape the educational experiences of young learners and set the foundation for a lifetime of success.
  • Resource Teacher: Work with students identified by our School Appraisal Team (S.A.T.) as having exceptional needs. These students are assigned to regular classrooms for the majority of their school day, and your role will be to provide targeted support to ensure their unique learning needs are met.
  • Learning Handicapped/Special Day Class Teacher: Oversee a Special Day Class for students and provide a supportive physical and psychological environment that reinforces positive pupil behavior, social skills, and self-image.
  • Classroom Teacher: Severely Handicapped/Special Day Class: Coordinate a community-based critical skills program to enhance real-world learning while creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence, social skills, and self-image.

  • Education Specialist Instruction (Moderate/Sever or Extensive Support Needs)
  • Mild/Moderate Disabilities

  • Early Childhood Special Education
Candidates may also provide proof of University Intern Eligibility.

PRIORITY REGISTRATION FOR FUN CLUB, SOAR, AND RAAP
CVUSD’s Child Development staff are excited to share that priority and regular registration periods for the 2025-2026 Fun Club and SOAR/RAAP programs are coming soon! The CVUSD Fun Club, Students On A Rise (SOAR), and Ramona Adolescent After School Program (RAAP) are site-based, before and/or after-school childcare/enrichment programs for students in transitional kindergarten (TK) through eighth grade.

Priority Registration

·        March 31, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. through April 7, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.

Students eligible for priority registration include unduplicated students (i.e. English language learners, foster youth, socio-economically disadvantaged) and students currently enrolled in a Fun Club/SOAR/RAAP program during the 2024-2025 school year. 

Regular Registration

·        April 7, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. through April 18, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.

All other students are welcome to register for programs following the priority registration period. Links to register will be available on the Child Development webpage during each
registration period.

Accepting Applications for the Measure G Citizens’ Oversight Committee (“COC”)
The Board of Education of the Chino Valley Unified School District is seeking qualified, interested individuals to fill an opening on the Measure G Citizens’ Oversight Committee (“COC”), which monitors the District’s Measure G school facilities bond program. Currently, the District is accepting applications for an At-Large member.

Applications can be accessed at https://bit.ly/3Rd0brM and emailed to the Assistant Superintendent of Facilities, Planning, and Operations at greg_stachura@chino.k12.ca.us. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. 

The committee meets four times per year to review expenditure and construction reports to ensure that Measure G bond proceeds were expended only for the purposes set forth in Measure G, to inform the public concerning the District's expenditure of Measure G bond proceeds, and present to the Board of Education in public session, an annual written report outlining its activities and conclusions regarding the expenditure of Measure G bond proceeds.
