Arrival & Dismissal Safety
It is important that the drop-off and pick-up lines move quickly and safely. Do not park your car along the red or blue curbs and pull forward all the way before stopping, following the directions of staff on duty. If your child is unable to get in and out of the passenger side of the car independently, you must park in a parking space and walk them to the gate. The drop-off lane is specifically for students who can get in and out of the car quickly from the passenger side and keep the line moving. The sections of the parking lot specifically marked for parking should not be used as an additional drop-off or pick-up lane. This is not safe for students and also blocks cars trying to use the parking spaces. Parking spaces are the only places you should park your car.
As a reminder, please follow all traffic laws during drop-off and pick-up. All cars should drive on the correct side of the street and refrain from double-parking. In addition, dogs and other animals are not permitted on campus, which includes the parking lot and sidewalks within the campus. Thank you for putting student safety over convenience.
Safety to and from school is very important, so remind your students to walk home directly after dismissal. Our crossing guards are on site 15 minutes before dismissal, and then for 30 minutes after dismissal. If students are not going directly home, they might not have the support of adults in the crosswalks around the campus. Also, make sure to remind your students who walk home to always be aware of their surroundings and not engage with strangers.
